Important Note

For reduced fare cards (e.g., youth, senior, affordable, post-secondary), you will need to confirm your eligibility. Please log in to your Guelph Transit OnYourWay app to complete the form fields and select the Save button. Once the application information is complete and has been saved in the app, access the Reduced transit fare eligibility form and upload, or email onyourway@guelph.ca the following supporting information:

  • Postal Code
  • Digital Fare Card number (which can be found at the top of the account profile tab)
  • Proof of eligibility:
    • Government issued ID; or
    • Tuition receipt, enrolment letter, course schedule (for the post-secondary category)

Please note: In order to protect your privacy, we recommend that you redact (i.e. black out) any unique identifying numbers such as licence or passport numbers prior to submitting your supporting documentation. Emailing a copy of any identification is voluntary and you can choose to verify your eligibility in-person instead by visiting the Guelph Transit administrative office (170 Watson Road South) or ServiceGuelph (Guelph City Hall, 1 Carden Street).

Personal information provided when you sign up to use the Guelph Transit OnYourWay mobile app will be used to create and manage your OnYourWay account, manage fare transactions, provide related services, and communicate with you regarding these matters. Please review the terms and conditions before signing up.

When you use the OnYourWay mobile app additional personal information may be collected and linked to your account (e.g. dates and time of travel). Using the OnYourWay mobile app is optional and you may choose to purchase fares with an OnYourWay fare card instead.

Personal information, as defined by Section 2 of MFIPPA, is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of MFIPPA.
